Hi, I'm Deirdra

“I promise that even the small shifts you make while working with a coachsmith will help create change in your life." - Deirdra

I'm a teacher, a mentor, a friend, and the parent of a young adult so becoming a coach was a natural step along my path of being in service to others. In each of these roles, my focus and responsibility is to ask the right questions, the ones that will help the other person peel back the layers of what might be getting in the way of them reaching their full potential.

I'm also the client of a coach. When I made the decision to end my 25-year marriage I knew it meant that I was leaving behind all that was familiar to me. I also knew that I wanted more. I had no idea how things would unfold, but I was certain that I owed myself the opportunity to create a life that fills me up. And, my daughter was watching closely. Having my own coach helped me gain clarity about what I wanted and it kept me focused when fear and doubt jumped in the way.

You don’t have to blow up your life like I did, but I promise that even the small shifts you make as the result of working with a coachsmith will help create change. Add that to the list of self-care things you already do. You are worth the investment.
